hello.
i am sitting in the third floor computer lab in hammond between classes.
i really wish that i had something to write in here, but i dont.
nothing really new has happened to me, nothing really worth mentioning.
i have come to the conclusion that i need to open up and i really need some friends.
i realized that when andy has something to do, i sit.
its really rather depressing that on wednesday i had no school or work due to the snowstorm and i literally did nothing. i sat on the couch eating and watching t.v. ugh, gross.
Alarming statistics back this observation up, showing that many Americans feel more happy and fulfilled at work than we do in our own homes. Of course, we all inevitably work too hard, then we get burned out and have to spend the whole weekend in our pajamas, eating cereal straight out of the box and staring at the TV in a mild coma (which is the opposite of working, yes, but not exactly the same thing as pleasure). Americans dont really know how to do nothing. this is cause of that great sad american stereotype - the overstressed executive who goes on vacation but who cannot relax. ...This is a sweet expression. Il bel far niente: the beauty of doing nothing..
i basically feel like a 40 year old overworked executive whom has no hobby but work and cannot even find pleasure in not having to go to work. Its like my hobby is cooking dinner and cleaning the apartment. Mmm, great life.
someone have something they want to do with me? or just a suggestion of a hobby.

i'm still so homesick.
i need a pet to keep me company in this empty, lonely apartment.
today i didnt have anything (no work or school) after 12:15 and i was so anxious cause i didnt know what to do.
i sat in my parents kitchen and read magazines to pass the time.
now i am sitting on my bed wishing i had friends.
friends that preferred hanging out with me to other things.
i'm really contemplating going and sleeping on my parents couch tonight. |

So andy and i moved in (pretty much, almost) yesterday. We slept there last night.
I'm so homesick.
haha, i couldnt sleep last night at all.
all i could hear were people and cars and such. It grossed me out.
i know i'll get used to it and it will be so much fun but right now i'm just homesick.
i want my dog.
i hated saying goodbye to my parents last night. i really didnt like it at all.

So Andy and i got the apartment that we applied for. :)
21 Waverly street. i can literally throw a rock and hit the fsc rec center.
pumped.
we are going there tomorrow to fill out paper work and give the deposit. and he said he only needs 24 hours to finish up painting. :)

hey there,
nothing really is new. started opening the gym on saturday mornings too. then decided that it wasnt really worth it due to the fact that i couldnt function due to exhaustion (M-F i have to be there at 4:45 and then saturday at 6:45, NO THANKS!)
i start at world next tuesday (t/Th 4-8)
andy and i applied to an apartment (21 waverly street) i really hope that we get it. Its so close to school, and everything else for that matter. its all hardwood floors! :) and i just really want to be on our own. I think after being together for three and a half year, an apartment is a necessity.
is it lame that i am wearing the same (home-made) costume this year as i did last year? I made it and i feel like its a waste if i dont wear it again. I'm going to make some modifications and make my hair look alot better this year. Arrgh, pirate.
the family that i have been nanny(ing) for has run out of money. :(they needed to..lay me off? ugh. its not even the fact that i'm out of a job but these kids are amazing. I'm going to miss them so much. its really hard to fathom the fact that i wont see them anymore. ouch. its hurts to think about.
Everyone should look up Honda's Asimo. Its scary and in our lifetime, there will be one in every household. (watch the videos)
Also, my stupid laptop wont hold a charge for more than 10 minutes. Lovely.

Suddenly, the painting disappeared and no one knew where it went. About six or seven years later, while vacationing, Inness found the painting in a Mexican junk shop. |

so my american art teacher is very strange.
1. she has no boobs. i mean none at all. Devin, my thirteen year old, 100 pound younger brother has more boobs than her.
2. she reads word for word off her notes. i know that it must be tough being a teacher, and i know that she really does know her stuff, but shes constantly looking down at papers and going "uuuhhh...Ummmm" every four seconds cause shes lost her spot. and stopping mid-sentence to do so.
3. she speaks with a really fake/bad english accent. i dont know if she is trying to sound sophisticated but shes given the reverse impression.
4. she is constantly doing that thing that some people do when too much saliva collects at the corner of their mouths and they have to suck it back in. yeah, gross.
on another note: i got a 75 dollar parking ticket today.
yeah, good day.

I applied at Planet Fitness and got the job.
My hours are going to be M-F 5am to 9:30 am at Planet Fitness Leominster. Its going to suck having to wake up at 4am every day but i'll be getting another $200 a week and i wont have to work nights or weekends. I'll be able to stay at the three babysitting houses that i have now which gives me time to do homework and my day will end at 6 every night. Also, now i am back on the books (with taxes and such) so i will be getting a tax return and i can also apply for a loan and stuff if i need one, if my car ever dies. haha.
its going to suck and i'm going to be exhausted but i'll have some time to nap during the day and i will be able to go to bed early. and hey, isnt that what being a college student is all about? being tired and struggling?! haha, yep.
Monday: Planet 5-9:30. ExSc 11-12:15 American Art 12:30-1:45.
